Terms and Conditions

 

1. Introduction

  • Welcome to Bug Handling! By using our website to book educational talks, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking Policy

  • Bookings can be made through our website, over the phone, or by emailing bughandling@gmail.com.
  • All bookings are subject to availability.
  • A confirmation email will be sent upon successful booking.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payments in full must be made in advance of the sessions via either bank transfer or PayPal.
  • Prices are subject to change; however, confirmed bookings will honour the rate at the time of booking.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least five working days in advance for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made with less than five working days notice will be subject to a fee of 20% of their booking total.

5. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least five days in advance.
  • We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests but cannot make guarantees. If we are unable to reach a desired rescheduling date, a refund will be issued dependant on notice given (as seen in Cancellation Policy).

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • While we take all necessary precautions, we are not liable for any injuries or damages during the educational talks.
  • Participants must follow all safety guidelines provided by our team.
  • We reserve the right to refuse individuals from holding our animals if they cannot follow the instructions given, this is to ensure our animals' wellbeing.

7. Privacy Policy

  • We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during booking will be used solely for service delivery and will not be shared with third parties.

8. Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Changes will be posted on this page.

Return and Refund Policy

For purchases of invertebrates through this website, we guarantee live arrival and will refund for any animal that is DOA (Dead on Arrival).


All animals will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, which is a next day delivery service (Not next day from day of order). With this being said, our packing days are Monday and Wednesday, so orders will either arrive on Tuesday or Thursday respectively (depending if the order is placed before the cut-off time).


We will let you know in advance when to expect your order and provide tracking information upon request.


In some instances, the weather conditions, postal strikes or other delays may mean that we won't be able to fulfil the order in a timely manner like usual. We will keep you in the loop for any of these instances but if you are unhappy to wait, you are more than welcome to receive a refund in full - just let us know.


Sometimes Royal Mail packages can get delayed, resulting in your order arriving a day late. However, if you do not receive your package within 48 hours, please email us and we will look into it further.
